Warm Weather Shipping Policy

Shipping chocolate in the summer is no easy feat! As the temperatures climb well above 70 degrees (the point at which chocolate begins to melt) we do our best to ensure that your chocolate arrives in the best condition possible with help from the following:
Cold packs: Every order that we ship during the warmer months is packed with insulation and cold packs to help keep your chocolate cool for up to 48 hours. All shipping options are limited to those with transit times of two days or less, and include a $5.00 fee for the cooling materials.
Shipping to business addresses: Even with cold packs, chocolate is no match for the sun if your package is left on a hot porch for several hours. When possible, we highly recommend shipping to a business address rather than a residential address to help keep your package in a temperature controlled environment as long as possible. We are not responsible for melted chocolate if the package has been left outside.
Shipping schedule: To keep your chocolate from being in transit for more than two days, we will only be shipping packages Monday through Wednesday. We will also ship on Thursday for customers who place orders by noon on Wednesday and chose Overnight shipping or are shipping to addresses in Georgia.

May 11, 2015I tried your chocolates while in OBX, NC. They were displayed with samples (which I of course couldn’t resist) at a little boutique in Manteo on Roanoke Island. They were absolutely the best I’ve ever had…and I’ve had LOTS of chocolate! Just wanted to let you know, you’ve found a new customer! I will most definitely need more of these.
