Since the inception of Cacao Atlanta, we have been committed to keeping our work place green and having as little impact on the environment as possible. We have taken many small steps towards sustainable methods where possible including utilizing local farms to buy organic ingredients for our confections, sourcing affordable biodegradable options for our packaging, and encouraging our regular customers to recycle their own boxes when refilled.  

From a chocolate making perspective, Cacao Atlanta is committed to obtaining cocoa beans from farmers and co-op partners and making our chocolates in ways that are socially and environmentally responsible.   Our goal is to know the origins of all cocoa beans used in our products, and to know that the farmers involved are also committed to the highest of standards.As unfair labor practices and unsound environmental practices continue to be brought to customers’ attention, it is our mission to honor the chocolate making tradition, the farmer, and the worker as actively as possible.  

Cacao Atlanta’s passion for sustainability extends beyond the beans and ingredients that are the foundation of our creations.  It is in the way we do business- consciously and with pure intentions remembering each day to give love, give chocolate.
